Modest| Hard Working| Calm| Dependable
Quidel is a rather easy-going fellow. He doesn't like causing unnecessary trouble unless someone's asking for it. He's dependable as well and tends to put other's needs before his own, which sometimes doesn't work out too well for himself. Though because he tends to be more group oriented, it does lead him to take on more than he can chew at times.

Country boy in the Big City....
Quidel comes from a big family in the South. Being the eldest out of five siblings and losing his father at a young age, he matured faster to take on the paternal role for his younger siblings. When he came of age to take a wife, Tifft was hesitant but seeing as 'he didn't have a choice in the matter' (family/community pressures), he went along with trying to find a wife. It wasn't long until he found someone he could see himself settling down with but due to certain 'complications' that arose, it fell through quickly. Attempting to save face and avoid further embarrassment, Tifft claimed he'd gotten a job offer in the Big City and would have to be gone for a few months. He packed his bags and left home a few days later but promised to send some money back home.
It's been about twelve years since Quidel left home and during that time he had to face some harsh realities of the world his little farm community back home neglected to warn him about. The world beyond the amber fields of grain was much harsher than anything he'd experienced. Most of the possessions he'd brought with him had been stolen or 'lost' during his travels leaving him with pretty much nothing as he made his way to this newest city. Despite his peaceful demeanor, he's not a fan of law enforcement and has gotten into his fair share of brawls. Though after being by himself for so long, he does hope to find some sort of family structure to help him settle down a bit.
